Education & Experience Presentations Publications

John Edwards' experience in civil litigation includes class actions, product liability, corporate takeovers, securities fraud, corporate governance, and constitutional litigation. His practice focuses on litigation and counseling, as well as internal investigations. He has defended numerous actions under the federal securities laws and state law involving accounting practices, disclosure policies, takeover defenses, executive compensation, and directors' fiduciary duties. He has extensive experience in litigation involving the constitutionality of state takeover laws, and he has handled numerous contested matters in bankruptcy proceedings. John has also defended single party and class actions involving claims concerning a wide range of issues, including product liability, unfair competition, consumer fraud, and public nuisance.
